Hard work...WTF??

I recently discovered a fabulous website called http://www.mycomeup.com/. I absolutely love it. It’s full of inspiration and practical advice from folks that are actually successful, like Floyd Mayweather, Gary Vaynerchuk, Jay-Z and Donald Trump.

The shitty part is that advice revolves around the same themes: Hard work. Sacrifice. Long hours. Discipline. They even have the nerve to show a video where Floyd Mayweather is talking about how hard he still works – even after becoming a millionaire. What the hell?!?!

Not one Mega Millions Lotto winner on the site.

What in the hell am I gonna do now? I have a bunch of old episodes of “Charmed” on DVR that I was planning to watch, plus my regular TV shows.

My nights & weekends are for eating, sleeping and seeing what acquaintances are doing on Facebook, not working.

I can’t believe these people actually expect folks to consistently work and sacrifice for a goal. Are you serious?

There’s got to be a shortcut…I need my dream to be realized in the next 20 minutes. Yes, twenty. That will eliminate any chance that I’d get bored or discouraged. If that happened, then I’d have to try and fight my way out of that frame of mind – sounds like a bunch of work on top of more work.

What a dilemma.

I’ll let you know how this works out.
