The attempt to raise a fully functional human being is daunting, and believe me - it can only be characterized as an attempt.  No guarantees here. It's truly one of life's marathons.
  
Sometimes, though, I think I'd have a better chance attempting to spend the weekend at Camp Crystal Lake.
